As you are preparing to submit an article, a poster, or a talk to one of our conferences, the information on this page will guide you with details on expected contents and formatting.

Publish your research

Submission Types

A contribution that presents significant research, development, application, or survey. It should present a well-rounded treatment of a problem, which places the presented solution in the context of related research work. The length is 6 pages of formatted text (including figures and references) in standard IEEE two-column format, with the possibility of 2 extra optional pages.

A contribution that presents an idea or first partial results of a research project to be shared with the scientific community. The work does not need to be fully implemented or researched, but needs to highlight a clear contribution to the state of the art. The length is 4 pages of formatted text (including figures and references) in standard IEEE two-column format.

A contribution that summarizes information or research concisely to be displayed and to generate discussion. A poster contribution is usually composed of text, graphs, tables, pictures, or other elements, for easy visualization.
A contribution that presents research, technical, marketing, industrial, or position ideas and/or results in the form of presentation slides. The recommended length is 12 to 15 slides, with some flexibility depending on the topic.

Use the following poster template

Use the template of your choice in PowerPoint, with the following requirements:

  • The first slide should include the work title, author names and affiliations, presenter name and affiliation(s), presenter contact e-mail, and logo(s) of presenter institution(s).
  • The second slide should include a short presenter resume (with optional presenter photo).
  • There should be one slide for the Conclusion and another for References.
